Let’s all Live Well

Awakening the Spirit

The Goal of this phase of the expanded Mino-Bimaadizidaa program is to assist those who may be reliant on financial assistance as a result of multiple needs/barriers who want to live a good live and are not sure where to start. When people want to improve their circumstances, believe they can improve, and this Mino Bimaadizidaa path can help start the process of moving forward.

Healing the Spirit

The goal of this phase of the expanded program is to assist those who are reliant on financial assistance as a result of multiple needs/barriers, and to understand the roots of their unfulfilled needs and the barriers they face in moving forward as a means of encouraging a positive change in attitude, self-esteem and motivation. This includes learning about systemic barriers such as the Indian Act, residential schools, and other impacts of colonization.

Carrying the Spirit Forward

The goal of this phase of the expanded program is to assist program participants to take the practical steps necessary to achieve financial independence through sustained employment or self-employment.

Freeing the Spirit

The goal of the expanded program is the completion of the participants’ transition from dependence on financial assistance to self-reliance on income through employment or self-employment.
