Once accessible only outside of First Nation communities, Niigaaniin has grown to provide the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) within our First Nations.

This addresses a gap community members have long faced. ODSP provides income support, health benefits and employment support to people with disabilities in Ontario. Our community members face many health challenges because of our historic and ongoing oppression through colonization. ODSP offers money to help with living expenses, including food, and rent health benefits, including prescription drugs, vision care and employment supports.
